LinkedIn Annie Darke is an artist, researcher, and creative professional from Los Angeles. Presently she is a student at The New Centre for Research & Practice and an artist-in-residence for the hyogu residency at Toma House Air in Nara, Japan (November 2026).
She is also the co-founder of the audio consultancy DARKE STUDIOS and an audiovisual artist and writer whose practice explores the global influences of East Asian art and philosophies.
She holds a B.A. in History and Politics from the University of Oxford and an M.A. in Art Business with a concentration in East Asian Art from Sotheby’s Institute.
